As a class assignment, I was asked to create a type specimen book using a body of text (of my choice). David Sedaris' short essay, "Me Talk Pretty One Day" from his book of the same title, was chosen as a body text because it is pretty much the most hilarious book I have ever read. The result is a French/American specimen book for following typefaces: Fournier, Didot, Falstaff, Century Schoolbook, Trade Gothic and Vineta.
